After a very good breakfast, we headed on our way, but we'd gladly return. The owner was friendly and gave us lots of tips. The accommodation was clean and well maintained, with fresh bed linen and towels, and the pool was inviting and refreshing. One thing for visitors to note: it's better to buy bottled water rather than drink the tap water.

We loved staying here. The rooms were comfortable, the food was good, and there's a swimming pool and lapa. The owner is great, always ready to help with whatever you need and happy to suggest places to eat or interesting outings. We'll definitely visit again.

A comfortable little place with plenty of old world charm and lovely attention to detail. The host was fabulous, and check-in and checkout were friendly and easy. It’s tucked off the main road but still close to everything. I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

The sheets were clean and the location was good, but I was told I couldn’t drink the tap water and had to buy bottled water. The town tourism bureau and local people confirmed that Montagu’s tap water is clean and drinkable. This accommodation is encouraging unnecessary single-use plastic.
