The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the garden full of succulents and lemon trees was fantastic. We loved sharing breakfast with the other guests around one long table. It’s a great choice if you appreciate beautiful interiors and privacy.

Brydon and Hein made us feel very welcome, with helpful recommendations and a wonderful breakfast each morning. The garden, with its jasmine and lemon trees, was such a relaxing spot. Everything at the property feels carefully chosen and beautifully decorated. One of our favourite hotel stays, and we’ll definitely return.

They were so friendly and made me feel right at home. The interior is gorgeous, and I loved the soap and lotions too. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Every detail felt considered, and the place has a style that made me rethink what a boutique stay can be. You walk in and see someone’s vision brought to life, with a real jewel of a place rather than something that just happens to be attractive. The trip was worth every mile, in every sense.

A peaceful setting, with a lovely citrus garden, calm pool, and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was wonderful and everyone was warm and welcoming. Jonkmanshof in Montagu is an amazing boutique hotel, with farmhouse charm mixed with a distinctive, stylish design. It’s a special place for a memorable stay.
