A bit cluttered, so there isn’t much space for luggage. Still, it’s a nice place and clearly well cared for. The breakfast was very good, the dining room was delightfully decorated, and the garden is beautiful.

Our hosts have put a lot of work into creating an authentic old-world feel, and their passion for the property really shows. The room is small but perfectly formed, with an astonishing amount of detail in its period styling, right down to the chintz paper lining the drawers. Tea and coffee supplies were well stocked, breakfast was delicious and made to order, parking was secure and off the street, and the service was friendly. Such a joy to stay here.

The family gave us great service, and the accommodation was amazing. Montagu manor is a hidden gem in a historic building that takes you back in time. Breakfast was served privately and tasted great, and the hosts were very accommodating.

Wikkie & Elaine were such warm, friendly hosts and couldn’t do enough for us and our fur baby. Our newly renovated room and bathroom were elegantly decorated, with a comfy bed and fluffy towels. We loved the garden, and the full breakfast was so good it kept us going all day. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back 💛

What great value, the best I’ve seen in a long time. The room was gorgeous, and breakfast was generous in a beautiful dining room. These hosts were so lovely and happy to help with anything. Thanks for all the comforts, I really appreciate them.
