A fairytale kind of guest house, and such a unique place. It has become very expensive since getting TV exposure, but it's a must-visit in RSA. Right next to the N3, halfway between Jhn and Durban. I enjoyed chatting with the host, and the food was great.

Just five treehouses, and each one is different. If you like quiet, rustic places with a bit of adventure, this is the spot. One guest said it well: “We are so grateful to have found this place because our daughter enjoyed all the tree house nursery rhymes.” What a lovely surprise.

The hosts were awesome, and the office sign sums up the spirit of the place: arrive as guests, leave as friends. I definitely want to come back and try the other treehouses.

The treehouses might be worth a one-night stay for the experience, but they need maintenance. The advert is misleading about the mountain view: there isn't one from the treehouse because Gary has let the trees grow and block it. Unfortunately, Gary doesn't seem open to suggestions.

The treehouses are worth experiencing for yourself. They were hand-built by a real craftsman, right down to the wooden door hinges.
