We were welcomed with a glass of wine and lots of useful information about Mossel Bay. Geoffrey is kind and friendly, attentive to his guests’ well-being, and even helped carry our bags to the room. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated, and ours had a beautiful ocean view. This was by far the best guesthouse I’ve stayed in, and our best accommodation in South Africa. I’d go back to Mossel Bay just to stay here again.

The room had everything I needed, and the bed was especially comfortable. I only stayed one night, but couldn't find anything to fault, and the Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. The garden is easy on the eye, and the bay and mountain views are wonderfully peaceful. The kitchenette was more than adequate, the gates are remote controlled, and there's a supermarket about a 12-minute walk away. It's also close to the main beach road.

The garden is looking lovely and colourful, and there's a great view. This was my second stay at the guest house, and I'll be back. Everyone is so friendly and goes out of their way to make sure we're comfortable and happy.

It's a small, neat place with a quaint feel. The self-catering units have a kitchenette and a shower rather than a bath. The beds are comfortable, with white sheets, and there's free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There's enough room for one person. You can walk to a small beach, as well as coffee shops, restaurants, mini markets and other amenities.

The view and atmosphere are amazing, and we were really pleased with our recent stay at Asgard Valhalla Guesthouse in Mossel bay. The rooms are cosy, clean and fully furnished, and the service was friendly. Geoffry was especially kind and made the stay so enjoyable that we didn't want to leave. Thanks, Chris and Geoffry! One suggestion: it would be nice if they considered offering breakfast and possibly a braai in the evening. I'd definitely visit again.
