Everything you need is close by, thanks to the central location. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a small, quaint place to sleep, rather than somewhere to entertain. It's in a quiet area, feels very safe, and most facilities are an easy walk away. The indoor fireplace is lovely, and the outside gas barbecue is a nice extra. The facilities work well for a small family. I would've given it five stars if there'd been more space to put groceries away.

We stayed one night in this lovely cottage, which is centrally located near the shops. The area gets busy in December, and locals know the holidaymakers are in town. Our van was parked on the street outside, and someone broke into the back and took all my shoes and a few items of my daughter's clothing. Flowerbox needs secure parking. That was a terrible start to our holiday.

The cottage itself was decent, but the Wi-Fi cut out several times. What made the stay so upsetting was the owner's response when we arrived. I'd booked through an accommodation platform, then waited almost an hour outside because I couldn't reach her. I called, left a voicemail, texted, and emailed through the platform, with no reply. We eventually left to go somewhere else. When she called back, she asked how long we'd already been in the area and didn't apologize for missing check-in. She called from a different number and gave an excuse about the other one, though we'd tried both numbers, including one listed on a board outside the cottage. Her lack of regard for check-in and the way she spoke to us were really disheartening.
