The view was breathtaking, and the room was lovely and well equipped. There were plenty of nice places to sit around the property, and it was close to the city center. Our hostess was kind, caring, and very helpful.

The rooms were huge and had everything we needed, and the property was spotless, full of character, and beautifully cared for. Shirley made our stay in Mossel Bay special, with thoughtful touches like complimentary sherry waiting in the room when we arrived. Sonja and her team cooked such a good breakfast each morning that we barely needed to eat again until evening. Shirley’s attention to detail is hard to beat. I’d highly recommend staying at her place for a memorable Mossel Bay vacation.

We spent three lovely nights with Shirley. The room was fantastic, especially the bed and the standing tub, which we used every night. The pool and garden were perfect for relaxing or getting some work done, and the area was well sheltered from the ocean winds. Shirley made us feel at home with her personal touch, and her knowledge of the area was so useful. We followed her dining suggestions and weren’t disappointed. She was a wonderful host, and breakfast is a must. We’ll book again when we’re back in Mossel Bay.

The garden and decked terrace were stunning, with great views of Mossel Bay, and the pool was a refreshing spot after a day outside. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Shirley made us feel very welcome and shared some wonderful tales. New Stone Manor is a fantastic place to stay in Mossel Bay. Highly recommend it!

Shirley is a wonderful person, and we had a lovely holiday here. The building is beautiful and historic, with a cozy, classic feel and lots of art objects. The service was excellent, and breakfast was tasty. One thing that mattered a lot to us: they don’t have load shedding because they’re on the same line as important parts of the local infrastructure.
