On arrival, the managers and hostess were so welcoming and gave us a really personal greeting, a welcome drink, and an orientation. We signed up for game drives and a quad bike drive. The ride was fun and full of useful information, and we saw most of the wildlife while driving the quad bike. The views were beautiful, and breakfast, included in the price, was made just how we wanted it. The rooms and houses had everything, from tea, drinks, and snacks to matches for lighting the fire, which was already stacked and ready for a fire or braai. The pool wasn’t working while we were there, though, so better maintenance would be a good idea.

The quad bike safari was a lot of fun, and getting so close to the wildlife was an amazing experience. With beautiful surroundings and such a peaceful atmosphere, it’s a great place to relax.

For 1500, I expected proper coffee, but breakfast came with instant coffee. We also wanted to ride the quad bikes and found they had only one working quad available for guests. This place is unbelievably bad for the price. They won’t see me again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I didn’t even know this cool spot existed. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. We had a braai buffet while we were there, and it was all delicious, especially the potato salad and malva pudding. They also have a meerkat who thinks he’s a person. Too lovely.

The hospitality and service were great, and the quad bike safari made the experience worth it. The Game Lodge has all the bells and whistles, and the game life experience is one I won’t forget.
