We come back once a year, usually in July, when it feels like we have the whole beach to ourselves. It's beautiful and peaceful, and I get the rest I need. This is my happy place.

The balcony has a big table and is great for a barbecue or just gathering with family and friends, with the beach only a few steps away. We had a fantastic time and are already thinking about coming back to Mossel Bay. Douka, the owner, is warm and kind, and seems to have your best interests at heart. William and Liezel, the caretakers, are lovely and respect your privacy. They're only a phone call away if you need fresh linen or towels. Thanks, Douka, William and Liezel, for a memorable vacation. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, and plenty of utensils. The open-plan living and dining area has a smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, Prime, and phone mirroring. There's also a washing machine, cleaning supplies, and two drying racks. We could hang the laundry in the little private backyard. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the main with a very spacious bed and crisp linen. Both have plenty of built-in closet space. They also provide a camping cot and mattress for couples with a baby. The bathroom upstairs has a roomy shower, toilet, sink, and cabinet for toiletries. Bath and swim towels are supplied, so there was no need to bring wet towels along. Downstairs there's another toilet and sink in the hallway. William and Liezel greeted us warmly when we arrived in the parking lot, then showed us through House E. We were impressed by how carefully everything had been thought through. Our stay was truly satisfying, and we'd happily recommend it to anyone planning a visit.

The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished, with a great deck and braai facilities. And the location is incredible. Where else in South Africa can you rent a place right on the beach? Five stars from me. I'll be back every year.

You can't beat this beach location. The place is tastefully decorated and very clean, and the kitchen is beautiful and well equipped.
