We keep coming back here whenever we're in Durban. It's close to lots of amenities, including the Umhlanga area, and the garden is lovely, quiet and peaceful. Anthony arranged the accommodation around my family's disability needs so thoughtfully. The management and onsite staff were amazing, and everything we needed was provided. The beds are a dream, the WiFi worked great, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool.

The guest house itself was great: clean bedrooms, everything to our satisfaction, and no complaints. Petrus gave excellent service, and the staff were highly professional. We're from Johannesburg, and this was our first time in Mount Edgecomb. The area is amazingly beautiful and so well kept that it was a surprise to find it in South Africa today. You can see the community pulls together to look after it. Highly recommended.

After 12 years of staying at BnBs, I can recommend this one to anyone working in the area. I woke up feeling a bit fluish this morning, and Antony and Tanya (Owners) went the extra mile to help me feel better. I really appreciate it (see pic).

I've stayed here twice and found it well maintained, with elegant rooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, and everyone from reception to the cooks was friendly, pleasant, caring and accommodating. I highly recommend it to families, locals and foreigners. One small suggestion: a bottle of water in the rooms would be nice.

The only thing I'd change is the noise from the wooden chairs scraping across the stone floor in the breakfast room. That should be easy to fix. Otherwise, this is a beautiful romantic B&B, with very nice rooms full of African details and a copious breakfast.
