My family and I had a great stay, with immaculate views, neat and tidy rooms, and a great location. Breakfast could have had more options, but everything available was delicious. A special thank you to Gogo, who served us with a smile all weekend. Such a lovely soul.

I attended a conference at Riverstone Lodge this past week and wanted to commend the team. James the Chef and both gentlemen named Sunnyboy gave me a level of care and food quality that exceeded my expectations. As a vegan, I often find that little effort is made for my meals, but they made me feel valued and special. These men are “super awesome” employees and a credit to the lodge. I hope their hard work is recognised.

The walking trail was nice, and the area is peaceful with plenty to do. The service and rooms are top tier. The pool was very small and had no lights at night. Standard rooms actually had better TVs than the executive rooms. They also advertise Avianto's estate and its facilities, which can be confusing.

We stopped in for breakfast, and the set meal of bacon, eggs, toast and tomato was more than enough. It’s a great place, with a lovely setting beside the river, and seems well worth staying at too.

The peaceful surroundings and great location were a real plus, and the room was amazing for the price. One thing to check when you arrive: the mattresses can be quite hard. If yours isn’t comfortable, ask the front desk about it.
