The rooms and lodge are beautiful and clean. The stunning beach is just a few steps away, and there's a fantastic restaurant right next door. You can hear some noise from the restaurant's patrons, but it didn't bother us. It usually winds down by 10pm.

The staff are so unprofessional and unhelpful that it's no surprise negative comments about this lodge are appearing. As an agent for guests looking to stay there, I definitely won't be booking it.

The private courtyards at the front and back were lovely, and the communal pool and braai area were great. The location is perfect for the beach. The family managing the property were lovely, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious, with nice decor, a great kitchenette and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath. We'll be back.

Vernon and Emmarentia were professional while still making us feel at home, and the service was exceptional. We had a beautiful room and facilities, with thoughtful details and fast wifi. The beach is just a minute or two away, so popping over whenever we wanted was easy. After doing the Otter trail, we could walk back because the finish is close by. A perfect stay, I can't think of anything to improve. We'll definitely return and highly recommend Tranquility.

The included breakfast was delicious, and the crew were exceptionally accommodating. After the Otter trail, this was a wonderful place to unwind. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very well designed. It's the sort of place where you wish you could stay longer.
