Town Lodge Mbombela

I've stayed at town lodge twice, most recently just lately, and the staff have been welcoming, friendly, and helpful each time. Siya and Princess at the front desk, you were exceptional, and breakfast is the best. Getting luggage up to the top floor is a challenge without a lift. I also wish there were carports, since the extreme weather makes me worry about damage to the cars.

All the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices. I spent just one night here on a business trip. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was what I'd expect at this level of accommodation, just right for a short stopover.

The food is absolutely excellent, probably the best in town, and the location is very nice with very good staff. What made things miserable was the noise from group bookings. Groups sometimes played loud music, made noise, and parked vehicles near the pool, taking over the area. It was impossible to enjoy the pool when that happened.

It's centrally located but still quiet, with friendly staff and a lovely dining area. The buffet breakfast is great, and there's a good selection of teas. There's also a pool. Keep in mind it isn't wheelchair friendly, as there are only stairs and no lift.
