Mont Aux Sources Hotel & Resort

We had a great stay in a chalet, which had everything we needed to cook, including a braai. I think the hotel rooms may be under renovation. The pool was lovely and clean, and the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Reception handled check-in, check-out, and our other questions very well, and the manager on duty was welcoming and attentive. We arranged a spa massage too. We chose full board and enjoyed every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was delicious throughout, with capable chefs making the restaurant service feel personal. The wait staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. It was our first stay, and we thought it was great value for money.

We especially enjoyed the marked walking and hiking trails. There are options for different fitness levels, and they make it easy to take in the scenery at your own pace. The Drakensberg views were breathtaking, even just waking up to them made the getaway feel peaceful and restorative. Mont Aux Sources Hotel also has inviting gardens and communal spaces, with facilities that were comfortable and very well maintained. Meals were consistently delicious, nicely prepared and presented, with generous portions and care given to quality and flavour. With the setting, activities, food, facilities, and warm hospitality, it's a place we'd happily return to for time in nature.

The packages are brilliant, and the food is highly recommendable. We’ll definitely see you again in 2026z. The location has brilliant views and lots of activities, and the staff are friendly with really good service. Management were helpful, skilled, friendly, and supportive. Thank you, brilliant.

So green and lush, with beautiful mountains. It felt like Midlands magic. There was a disappearing waterfall, or maybe it was the cocktails I had at the restaurant! The staff were friendly and really helpful, a true example of ubuntu woven into the community. I also noticed that the staff are locals, and I appreciate management giving back to the community.
