The people were friendly, but that awful smell was impossible to get past. It smelled terrible, and we just couldn’t understand how it could be so bad. 😢

Breakfast was generous and magnificent, and the staff were warm, helpful, and professional. The rooms had everything we needed and were clean, tidy, and easy to access. A real gem in a lovely little town, better than home. Highly recommended, the best around.

Back for my second visit, and I still think it’s a great spot. It feels safe and secure, and the location works perfectly for me.

Everything was comfortable and very clean, with safe parking, in part of a very attractive large house. The room was a bit tight for two, though it had a bathroom, kettle, mugs, TV, free WiFi, and a wall heater. The electric blanket wasn’t working, which was a shame in cold Maclear.

There’s a booklet with interesting places to see around Maclear, and the view from this beautiful building is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and have what you need. Management is professional, the staff are warm and courteous, and breakfast was scrumptious. It’s a great place for loved ones or a tired traveller to unwind and be pampered, treated like royalty.
