Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with a garden setting that felt country-like. It was in a great spot, and we could park right beside our unit. The gate closed behind us, which made us feel very safe. Since it was the end of the season, it was quiet and we were the only guests. We had breakfast there on our first morning. It was very good and reasonably priced. Derrick offered to do our laundry for free, but we were charged, and it was quite expensive. Maybe that was because of the drought, but we would have liked to know beforehand. It was close to town and to Nostalgia, the best restaurant beloved by the locals. We thought it was one of the best places we’ve ever eaten. All the food we had there was top notch. We went for dinner twice and breakfast on our way out, and it was reasonably priced too. The Swartberg Pass was well worth it. On the way back from Prince Albert, we took the longer route. It was a nice road with beautiful views and fewer “yikes moments.”

The rooms were really clean, and the staff were the friendliest ever. It’s a beautiful location and guest house, with an atmosphere where I could switch off and enjoy my holiday. I had no worries, even with the kids around. There’s a dog on site, but it’s super friendly and adds a bit more safety. Worth every cent!

My family of three stayed for two nights last week. The place is amazing and so underrated, and the bed was the best of all. The room was immaculate, and my 8yr old loved the outdoor play area. The room was serviced, and all the ladies were friendly. Reception was very professional. The young lady showed us around and did her best to make us comfortable, especially since we had an extra large trailer. Definitely can’t wait to visit Oudtshoorn again.

We had a huge party, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we’re in the area. Wi-Fi was the one issue, though that was due to load shedding. The pool and surroundings were pleasant, and Falstaff was accommodating whenever we asked for help or extra crockery. Thank you for the hospitality.
