We’ve stayed here three times and are sure to return. Alba guest house is lovely, and the wonderful Ivana welcomed us so warmly. The villa is beautifully designed, on the outskirts of Paarl and close to wineries, villages, and nature parks. The garden is well kept, and there’s a clean, large pool with loungers and cushions. Sometimes butterflies and birds come by, too. The room is cozy, and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is a treat, with good coffee, cheeses, fruit, granola, and an omelet or other eggs made on the spot. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, just five minutes from all the good restaurants Paarl has to offer.

Ivana was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The garden is wonderful, the room was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. Booking was smooth and efficient. I’d definitely stay there again. 😊

We had a lovely stay at Alba House in Paarl and will be back. The view was great, and the pool was beautiful. Ivana and her staff were pleasant and gave us advice on exciting places to visit and enjoy around the region. Thank you!

Breakfasts were good, but our experience overall wasn’t pleasant. We had trouble with the remote control gate, which closed on our vehicle twice and substantially damaged our hired vehicle. There are televisions in the rooms, but no DSTV or other channels. The house needed attention after recent flooding, and unfortunately that work hadn’t been done before we arrived. If you’re a big family booking all the rooms and expecting exclusive use of the house and kitchen, this may not be the place for you, even if that was confirmed to you by email.

Breakfast was fantastic, and Ivana was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My sister and I had a peaceful, enjoyable overnight stay in a charming room that was fully equipped.
