The rooms were fresh and neat, and the linen was clean. The hostess lent us some cutlery and other things so we could braai. Just be aware that it isn’t self-catering and there’s no fridge. If you’re a light sleeper, the street noise and water pressure pump could bother you.

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and quiet, the bedding was comfortable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. They serve a continental breakfast.

The road was very noisy, so it wasn’t a good fit if you want some peace. They say it’s smoke-free and self-catering, but the whole house smelled of smoke. The fridge was dirty too.

It has a lovely, homely feel and is a beautiful place. I’d go back every time!

I only stopped by to ask a few questions, and the friendly staff helped me out. I’ll consider staying at the Guest House.
