La Lechere Guest House

My partner and I adored this haven, right down to seeing Rosie and Zoe, the owners dogs♥️ The 12 course New Year's meal was especially fantastic, and the food, facilities, company, and communication were all great. Isabella, Jan, and the staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We got such good service and were treated so well. Five stars all the way. There’s plenty of wildlife to enjoy since La lechere is a stones throw from the KNP. We’ll definitely return, especially to see Rosie and Zoe, the owners beautiful dogs! This B&b felt like a holiday within a holiday, just the place if you want a bit of peace and quiet. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and we couldn’t have asked for friendlier owners and staff. Thank you again, five stars from us! Cinjin and Ellz

The room itself was great, clean, and spacious. The property is nice, the staff were great, and I liked having the friendly dogs around. Still, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed because of the owners. When I arrived, I greeted the female owner warmly, but her response felt very cold, almost forced. The male owner told me where to park, then ignored me as I got out of the car and didn’t welcome me. I’d heard good reviews and expected the same basic respect from both owners. I found myself avoiding them after that. I wondered whether it might have been a racist encounter or something else, but I can’t say for sure. Being seen by the owners and completely ignored as a guest has never happened to me anywhere before. It left a sour taste, and I’m unsure whether I’d feel comfortable returning. The staff, thankfully, were lovely.

The breakfast was very nice, and the staff were professional and friendly. This guest house is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it. 10/10, the best in Limpopo 🤗
