Lake Sands Manor

I was rushing to a business meeting after our office had booked me in, and when I called from the gate, I got a very cold, stern response and was told it was “the middle of the day.” She'd misunderstood who I was, but after that introduction I wouldn't stay there or send our technicians there soon. I found help quickly from some great B&Bs nearby. Gail Foley at Hamilton Urban Guesthouse was full, but still gave me referrals and got me sorted within 20 minutes.

Loved the place. There’s free wifi and a full kitchen, and the rooms have aircon, lovely bathrooms and roomy showers. The beds were very comfortable too. It's close to shops and the main highway, and felt like a home away from home.

Didn't expect it to be this nice, and I slept really well. It was a cold day, but the aircon/heater worked great. Breakfast isn't offered unless you ask. I'd come back when I'm in the area.

I spent four days at Lake Sands Manor and was really pleased with how well the staff treated us. They kept the rooms clean and responded quickly whenever we needed something. What they advertise is what you get, and then some. Thanks to Green, Ayanda, Sonta and the rest of the team for making it a memorable stay. I'll definitely return, and I'd recommend Lake Sands Manor.
