The rooms were spacious and very clean, breakfast was delicious, and the beach is only a few minutes away on foot. What really stood out were the owners of the bayside lodge, the warmest and most helpful hosts we met on our South Africa trip. They gave us excellent advice on getting there, things to do locally, and where to go next. Highly recommended!

The place was spotless and comfortable, and only a few minutes from the beach. The hosts really know the area and were top-notch in their hospitality. We had an amazing stay at Bayside Lodge and definitely recommend it.

Adrienne and her husband welcomed us so warmly at Bayside Lodge, and their hospitality made the stay unforgettable. They knew the local restaurants and area inside out, with helpful tips for activities and places to eat in Plettenberg Bay. The lodge was impeccably clean and carefully maintained, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Plettenberg Bay.

The garden was peaceful, and the cozy shared spaces were a lovely place to unwind after exploring Plettenberg Bay. The staff were exceptional, with useful suggestions for attractions, restaurants, and trails, and they always made sure I had what I needed. Adrienne and Bernie are kind, generous hosts who welcomed me with warm smiles and made me feel like family. My room was spotless, tastefully decorated, warm, and so comfortable, with every detail clearly cared for. It felt like a home away from home. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Bayside Guest house.

My wife and I felt more at home here than anywhere else on our holiday in a completely new country. Adrienne and Bernie were so informative, caring, and upbeat. We didn’t feel like hotel guests, but like family visiting for the first time. We’re incredibly grateful to them for making the stay exceptional. I couldn’t recommend this place more, and if another trip to South Africa is on the cards, staying here again is a must.
