Beacon Island Resort

There are lots of activities here, and the setting is lovely. The restaurant offers very affordable prices for really good quality. Even without staying at the resort, I’d recommend stopping by to enjoy the view and atmosphere. If you can mix with the people and join the games, they’re wonderful. Great atmosphere!

The view is what stays with you here. It’s incredible from every room and makes the whole visit feel worthwhile. The heated pools are another real plus, and there’s plenty to do, from games and entertainment to the on-site restaurant. The staff are lovely, and the food is good, although orders can take a while. There are shops nearby, a little bar fridge in the room, and fresh beach towels each day. Just be aware there’s no air conditioning. The large windows and ceiling fan help bring in a breeze, but some bathrooms don’t have windows, depending on the room. The atmosphere is great.

I loved my stay, thank you so much. The resort is clean and beautiful, with a great vibe and good food. There are indoor and outdoor heated pools, lots of games to play, and a gym with an even better view. So much more to explore, too. The staff are always super friendly, kind, and helpful.

The place gets extremely busy, but the amenities are great and it’s an easy base for nearby restaurants and attractions. The pool is lovely for lounging, and there’s direct access to a small beach. Watch out for bluebottles there. You get one pool towel per person each day. Our room had large windows that open all the way, so the breeze came in, and there was a fan, but no air conditioning. The sea views are amazing. There’s valet parking and two restaurants on site. Breakfast and coffee were great, and the Robberg room restaurant has a beautiful ocean view and outdoor patio. We had the seafood platter, which was good. Sea lounge has live music and activities like line dancing. The cocktails were just okay, a bit disappointing, and the happy hour special was listed as between 5 to 5pm. We had a hiccup at check-in: they said we were booked for two nights instead of three. Also, the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied after the previous guest, which was really disconcerting and unacceptable. I told the front desk and they apologized. Still, it’s an amazing location with awesome sea views from the room and a small strip of beach right there.
