Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and the staff were my favorite part of the stay. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made a real effort to help us remember our visit fondly. Our room was spacious, lovely, and beautifully decorated. I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting the bay.

The location is great for being near the beach, and the wait staff have been friendly. But I came for a 40th birthday and hoped to relax, and check-in was stressful because there was a room problem no one had told me about. The room feels outdated, and could use a proper coffee machine and fresh milk. Around 8am on Saturday, an earth mover was idling with a truck outside my window. It wasn't on the property, but no one had mentioned it. This isn't a cheap option in Plett, and I definitely wouldn't give it four stars.

Armstrong gave us the best service of our whole South Africa stay, and the atmosphere was friendly with lovely little touches in the rooms. Breakfast was excellent, with a direct beach view from the restaurant. The place is perfectly situated just outside the centre. Worth every penny!

We had a really fun stay as a family, and the rooms were great. The wifi was bad, though. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and Pila was the best waiter ever. There was loadshedding so the card machine wasn't working. When the power came back at 10pm, we walked down and played. It was an amazing experience, and you'll see us again, lions head. Please note, Pila was an amazing waiter.

I've had great stays here before and the service is generally good, but this time was disappointing. The air conditioning didn't work in my room or my colleague's room next door. It was already a known problem, but we weren't told until we asked. Just not good enough.
