The place was very clean, which was a real plus, and our three nights at 11 River Club in June were fairly comfortable. But several things need the owners’ attention. The fridge made a very loud noise around the clock and kept us from sleeping well. The lounge couch has a hole you fall into when you sit down, and the rusty oven didn’t cook food properly. Rust heating up also raised a health concern for us, so the oven needs replacing. We were given only one towel each. In winter and rainy weather, two per person would make more sense, especially with no tumble dryer. We were often drying ourselves with wet towels.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and from the outside the houses all look well maintained. It’s a nice gated estate close to the beach. It could use a small shop inside, or at least a notice that the butcher and bakery are just across the street. Another gate pointing toward the ocean would also be useful.

A neat, comfortable unit that felt like a home away from home, and good value for money. The host made check-in easy and professional. The accommodation is friendly and suits short or longer stays, in peaceful surroundings and close to all the amenities. Recommended.

It’s a very quiet complex, and the unit was fresh, clean, and equipped with everything you’d have at home. The stairs up to the unit were a bit challenging for us because we’re elderly. Highly recommended!

Since 2006, we’ve come to River Club every year for our three-week holiday, except in 2020 because of COVID-19 constraints. We always stay at 26 River Club Villas, also known as “A Minnow.” The facilities are great, and we always have an excellent, comfortable, relaxing stay. Good value for money, you can’t go wrong.
