Plett Beachfront Accommodation

The view is great, but the service was poor. The managers came across as self-centered and clueless. Apart from that, it was not too bad.

The beach is right across the road, and the breakfast alone was better than some restaurants we've visited. Everything was spotless and worked well, and the staff were the friendliest. You won't be disappointed here.

The people here were so kind, attentive and efficient, and the spacious, bright rooms were really practical. I loved the big shower with its strong pressure, and they have a generator for loadshedding. I found the place almost by accident while looking for a bed in Plett for a night or two on a slow road trip. I called the number on the sign outside and ended up finding a gem. It's across from Plett's best swimming beach, with good restaurants nearby and plenty more on the main road just a three-minute drive away. It feels like a small boutique hotel without the pretension, and there are fewer than 15 rooms. The price is hard to beat for what you get: made-to-order hot breakfast plus a continental buffet, complimentary coffee from the lobby machine any time of day, and lots of safe parking. I highly recommend it and can't wait to come back.

We stayed in the apartment and it was just right, with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The rooms and terrace were large, and there were two nice bathrooms. It has a sea view and is right on the beach, with all the restaurants nearby. The location couldn't be better. Breakfast was good, though getting an egg cooked took a long time.
