Breakfast was a lovely spread, and we enjoyed chatting with other travelers in the peaceful garden. The balcony rooms look out toward the ocean in the distance, and the decor is tasteful throughout this privately owned little boutique guest house. It's about an eight minute walk to Plettenberg bay beach. The place has electric gates and secure parking, and we were given a remote so we could come and go whenever we liked. You'll want a car to explore Plettenberg bay properly, since the town and its sights are spread out. We drove about an hour to hike in Tsitsikamma National Park, and Summer House was well placed for that. A delightful stay, highly recommended.

Kim made us feel right at home and comfortable. The house is bright, airy, and nicely decorated, and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast on the terrace while swapping stories with the other guests. We stayed for two nights and would happily come back. Lynda & Steven French

The view across the Atlantic seaboard and the fresh breeze were fantastic. The Summer House also has lovely furnishings and finishings, and the staff were amazing. This is easily the best guest house I've stayed at. I wouldn't choose anywhere else in Plettenberg Bay. Loved it!
