The bedroom view was breathtaking, and the room itself was spacious, clean, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty, filling and nicely prepared. It’s a family-run guest house, and Bernita made us feel incredibly welcome and was right there looking after things. What an amazing stay. Highly recommend it.

During our Pilgrimage, the owner even took care of our washing, which we really appreciated. She also made a special breakfast for our friend’s 70th birthday and went out of her way to make us feel at home. It was a real pleasure staying here, and we enjoyed hearing more about the community from her.

The home-cooked Butter Chicken made especially for me was the highlight of my stay. I’d told them how much I loved the way they turn spices into these amazing bursts of flavour, and they made me a dish just for me. Thank you, Benita and Family. It was an honour to be your guest. Each morning they made breakfast to suit my dislike of eggs, and treated me to local koeksisters and other baked goods. The guesthouse and the whole family are absolute gems, and they went far out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The view from the room brings a sense of peace, and the safe neighbourhood makes you feel surrounded by friends.
