Vido Lodge And Conference Center

Terrible place, management, and people. They care only about making money, not customer service. My mother booked and paid for me to stay here when I was starting a new job in Polokwane, but I couldn't stay for other reasons. We explained and asked for a refund. They said it would take 14 days to process and that there'd be a 30% penalty. We agreed, but after 14 days they're still giving us the runaround. We can't reach the manager or get the refund.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and made everyone feel looked after. The rooms were spotless and just right. I had a lovely time here, thanks so much for the wonderful service. I hope to come back soon 😍

There’s a pool, a Lapa, a bar area and secure parking, and the surroundings get very quiet at night. My room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a workstation and a TV. It was clean, and the linen was clean too. The food was hit and miss, and the WiFi could slow down. There’s no fridge or microwave in the rooms. Service was great, although English could be a bit of a struggle. Still, a decent stay.

It’s a lovely, peaceful place to rest, and the Sunday church service held by Alpha and Omega ministries was interesting. I’d have given it five stars if it were clean all the time, though. It can be a little dusty.
