The guards were friendly and well trained, and there’s a lovely entertainment area. The apartments are clean and have everything you need. Parking is cramped, and getting around means tackling steep slopes and lots of stairs, so keep that in mind if climbing is an issue. For what it is, the place punches above its weight.

We had an amazing view from the balcony, and loved having a gate from the resort straight onto the beach. The rooms were great, the staff were lovely, and we had a good time by the pool, which is also a nice spot for a braai. The outside areas could use some attention, though it looks like renovations are underway. A few more activities and maybe a small Café would make it even better. Our family loved the stay and would come back.

The grounds are beautiful and well looked after, with lovely paths and a gorgeous pool. There are quite a few activities on site too, though they cost a small fee. Getting luggage from the car to the chalet is a bit of a schlep, and all the stairs can be difficult for older guests. Some people may also find the walk to the pool and beach a bit much, even though it’s a beautiful one. Otherwise, it’s great accommodation.

It was my first visit, and I found the accommodation average overall, though I enjoyed my stay. The place feels spacious, quiet and clean, with enough parking. It’s kid friendly, with a pool, a playroom and other activities, plus a TV with DSTV. There’s also easy access from the accommodation to what feels like a private beach. The main issue was the internet. WiFi wasn’t available because of network problems, and the cellphone signal can be poor too, which is hard when you’ve come from far away. We didn’t find soap, shampoo or other toiletries in the bathroom, but luckily had our own. The toilet paper was horrible, the cheapest kind, and really should be changed. Reception also isn’t staffed after hours, and even phone calls go unanswered then. For a large accommodation, that’s not acceptable.
