The place is absolutely beautiful, but the stay wasn't good. Our group of 19 had to share one shower because the shower inside had no hot water, and for a while there was no water at all. We definitely won't use them again.

This was our third visit to Ambleside with our family of five. Mile and Nelly are amazing, very accommodating hosts. The rooms are spacious and really clean. We'd gladly return and recommend the accommodation.

It's peaceful and secure here, and all you hear is the ocean. The other guests were kind and kept things quiet, even during their braai. The rooms are clean and set up well for self-service, with everything you need. The owner was friendly and patient, showing us the different rooms since the prices vary. Even though it was late, Mike kindly took us to see the private beach. It's within walking distance, and I'll stay here next time I'm in Port Shepstone.

As pensioners, we found this a great place to stay. Mike was helpful and friendly, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. There's a lovely pool and jacuzzi, a small garden and a sheltered braai area. The beach is an easy walk away.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the beach is within walking distance. We enjoyed staying with Mike and Nellie. They were excellent, very friendly hosts.
