Cremorne Estate

We stayed at Cremorne Estate for a night before and after our group hike with TriSport, run by Sonya and Hano. The scenery was breathtaking, and the staff were accommodating and friendly. We also got to enjoy the food and drinks, plus the resident cats. It worked really well for our group gatherings at both ends of the hike.

The setting was lovely, but I wouldn't come here for a meal. We waited nearly two hours, and the prawns we ordered came as shrimp instead. We were told they were curved prawns with the shells removed. I asked for grilled calamari, but it arrived with a heavy amount of batter, as did the unwanted shrimp. A disappointing experience.

There's a lot of potential here, but the place needs more hands-on management and care. The fan in our room was noisy, the tap was loose, and the bedroom door wouldn't shut. We had to ask three times for the dinner bill, and when it came, it had been mixed up with another room's.

The setting is beautiful, but getting food was a frustrating experience. I was told there was only one chef, and we had to wait hours for our meal. Management needs to improve this and bring in more chefs, especially on weekends. I'm a content creator, and I couldn't recommend the food to my followers because I expect they'd raise the same complaint about the wait.
