Lovely place, but the entrance is very steep and becomes really difficult to drive up when it’s wet.

Everything felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. We booked two rooms for the weekend Springbok match, hoping to stay not too far from Loftus after finding everywhere sold out. My husband and I had room 7, and my son and his friend had room 6. The rooms were great and breakfast was delicious. The lady who helped us was friendly, welcoming, and a real ray of sunshine, though I can’t remember her name. We’re so glad to have another option when travelling to Gauteng. Thank you!

I’m still waiting for an answer to my question about the 4-star rating, which is why this review is late. I stayed in Room 7 for one night, on 8 October, and was shocked by the state of things. The floor was filthy, there were red stains on the sheets, and I shudder to think what they were. The bathroom blinds had no stick for tilting, and the lights above the dressing table didn’t work. The advertised kettle wasn’t there until I asked for one, and there was no iron. DSTV was pathetic, with few channels and some that wouldn’t play. The driveway is very steep with a sharp turn at the entrance. I await your reply. After reading it, it seems you don’t even have the correct facts about who stayed over. What a load of rubbish. Annah made sure we had everything we needed and treated us well. The staff were friendly and polite, the service was great, and breakfast was good. We had a great stay at this beautiful place. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely come back!
