Breakfast was delicious and flexible, with plenty of options for the vegetarian in our unit. You could choose what you wanted, how it was cooked, and when to have it. The bacon was especially well made. We stayed in the family unit, which was spacious and spotless, with very comfortable beds. Its decor and furniture look dated, though everything is tastefully arranged. Once we learned the owner had skillfully made all the furniture by hand, we appreciated it a lot more. We had access to the main kitchen, a stoop, and a beautiful garden, where the owners told us more about some unusual trees. The manager's parents gave us a very friendly welcome, and as it's a family business, they helped us with everything from a braai tang to a container for storing meat. The internet connection was strong, the DSTV package had lots of channels, and there were plenty of plug points, a wooden chess set, and biscuits by the kettle.
