Sentinel Executive Apartment

My stay was okay apart from the food issues, though I’d think twice before returning. There wasn’t enough food for everyone, especially late arrivals at supper even when they came within the allotted time. At lunch, the chicken drumsticks were off. Breakfast the next morning was delayed because the hotel hadn’t paid its kitchen staff, and some guests had to leave for meetings without eating. There also wasn’t anything for guests with diabetes at breakfast. I wasn’t impressed with the kitchen or chef. Thank you.

Students looking for a place to stay should save themselves the headache. Transport was often full or the driver simply didn’t show, so I had to walk. There were water leaks and cockroaches, and you have to pay for fumigation if you want to stop living with them. The Wi-Fi was horrible, and all year management said they were working on it without fixing it. I had to download lecture slides on campus and couldn’t rely on YouTube to supplement my studies. Living here was awful.

We were told by email to pay by EFT after first being asked for cash. When we were ready to make the transfer, a very rude, loud receptionist insisted we had to pay cash and said a card wasn’t an option either, so we had to ask family to bring cash. At 8 AM, we were told to pay cash immediately and were harassed by police from sunnyside. They created confusion and even said it was because we are white. I have everything recorded.

I’m so disappointed. Someone had warned me that sentinel doesn’t refund people, and now I’m having trouble getting my refund too. I WANT MY MONEY.
