Soetwaters Guest House

The whole place felt peaceful and serene, just right for a retreat. Our hostess was so friendly, and the rooms were beautifully decorated and absolutely clean. We had an amazing stay from beginning to end.

Soetwater Guest House is close to several wedding and conference venues, which makes it a handy place to book for a night. Mariana and Ian have clearly put a lot of heart into it and do so much to make guests feel welcome. The rooms are stylish and very clean, and the stay went beyond what I expected.

We stayed while attending a wedding nearby, and the place was close to the amenities we needed. It was remarkably quiet and peaceful, and Mariana made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. I’d recommend it for a relaxing weekend.

The donkeys running over to greet you are so sweet. I loved having morning tea outside on a chilly winter morning, listening to the wind in the forest. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well stocked, and Mariana gave excellent service. Wish we’d had more time here. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re coming for a wedding in the area.
