After spending a few hours sustainably gathering food from the local tidal pools, we went home to a six-course celebration of the sea. Carmen prepared it with care, and she and her friend Adene paired the delicious dishes with local wines. She even gave me a sea sponge and sent us off with three seafood recipes. I left with new skills, a better understanding of what the sea provides, and a new respect for nature. Fresher seafood is hard to imagine. A solid 10/10, and I can't wait to do it again and learn more. Edible shores is much more than a great place to stay in Pringle Bay. The accommodation is superb, and the setting and views are perfect. Carmen knows the local coast inside out and offers a day course on what can be eaten from the sea and how to prepare it. It was the most authentic seaside experience.

The meal after our Edible Shores foraging experience was truly special. We loved the whole day. It was hands-on, informative and felt so authentic. I highly recommend it.

Carmen made us feel welcome and shared useful information. The place had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay, and the hot tub was a real treat. The location is incredible, close enough that we could hear the ocean. It felt like a home away from home.

We booked Edible Shores at the last minute and absolutely loved our stay. Carmen was so accommodating and made sure we were happy. We'll be sure to book with her again!

Carmen's love and respect for the sea comes through in her cooking. She's very experienced and puts together a three-course meal with seaweed and other edible things from the sea, all sustainably harvested. The food was awesome, and you get a 180-degree view of the Pringle Bay coastline as you eat. Bring your friends and family to share it. One of my friends took this photo. Thanks, Carmen, for a great dinner!
