This comfortable beach house was a great mix of rustic charm and useful conveniences, at an affordable price. The beach and lagoon are a very short walk away, and Cape Town is about a 90 minute drive. It has open space and was surprisingly kid friendly. There was so much of everything: towels, cutlery, crockery, kitchen appliances, beds, bedding, toilet paper, couches, books, magazines, even Lego. The host has decorated it nicely with original artwork, photography and decor. The local neighbourhood security company was on duty, and their eagle eyes noticed our vehicle hadn't been closed properly. Thanks for keeping us safe! The wind was the only downside. We should have checked the weather before booking, so that's on us, not the host. Still, it may help to know this stretch of coast can be rather breezy.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Pringle Bay House and would have happily stayed indefinitely. There's lots of room and great amenities, making it a perfect home from home for two families and friends any time of year. The beach is a quick walk away, and the Pringle Bay village centre is close by. It's pet friendly too. Highly recommended.

There's plenty of room for at least 10 people in this lovely family home, and it's pet friendly. The modern decor is beautiful, and it has everything you need and more. Pringle Bay town square also has lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops.

There's a great choice of books and board games, and the open lounging areas give the family room to enjoy them. This beautiful sea themed home caters for all your needs and is good value for money. You can't see the ocean from the house because of Pringle Bay's landscape, but it's just a short walk away.

Our second night was frightening. While we were having dinner in the upstairs entertainment area, someone broke into a downstairs bedroom and stole some of our valuables and clothes. We called the agent/owner Natalie, but she showed no empathy and refused to pay for the glass company to replace the window. She just told us to lock the room and sleep in one of the others. Our whole family was in shock, so we left in the early hours because nobody could sleep afterwards. I'll be seeking a full refund. The problems began on arrival. There was no gas, and the electricity went off at 1am on the first evening. The agent/owner said the municipality was working on the power, but that wasn't the issue, there were no units. It was only sorted out the next day. No stars for this experience. It was horrific from the start.
