The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean, but they needed some work and more thought put into the layout. The plug points need to be secured, and there should be more table space. Our room also wasn’t ready, so more thought needs to go into receiving guests. For the money, I think there’s still a lot to improve. Thanks.

The host was accommodating, and we could use the Braai area without any hassle. There’s ample parking, and the pool was a refreshing stop after the long drive from Durban to Queenstown. We had a wonderful, peaceful weekend in a relaxed setting. The rooms are a bit small, but that was fine. I’d gladly stay again on my next visit soon.

The rooms could use some basics: there was no crockery or cutlery at all, the Wi-Fi password didn’t work, and the shower was so small it was hard to get in through the door. Since Queenstown was very cold in winter, I had to ask to move because some rooms don’t have electric blankets. The gentleman on duty gave us a warm welcome at check-in, and the staff were generally friendly, including the person maintaining the yard.

We were three people sharing two rooms, and the check-in was handled efficiently by a friendly gentleman. The guest house is nicely set up, but the internet in room 20 was terrible and very slow. Other hotspots were apparently available, though the passwords posted behind the door were rejected. There was no hot water last night and no water at all this morning. I’d also told them we’d leave too early for breakfast, but they had no option to help prepare even a basic takeaway breakfast.

The mountain-side location in Queenstown is lovely, and the beds were comfortable. Since I was just passing through on my way back to GP, the room size didn’t bother me. It was good value for money, and my wife found it online after turning down a place in town with a tavern at almost the same price. Great service, and it deserves a 5-star rating in that part of SA. The plugs and shower doors could use a bit of a revamp. I’ll definitely stay here more often when I’m in the area.
