Burkleigh House

David & Patricia made us feel so welcome. The gardens are exquisite, and the rooms are comfortable with lots of thoughtful detail. We especially loved the best linen we've had in ages, along with the delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast and the service were top notch, and check-in was seamless with our room ready when we arrived. The owner was friendly. The venue is beautiful and tranquil, with lovely gardens and a bridal suite that made it feel like waking up in the English countryside to birdsong. The one downside is that the kitchen and breakfast service close at 09:00, so there isn't a chance to sleep in much when checkout is at 10:00.

The garden is beautifully kept, and the sparkling pool makes a great place to unwind. With its intimate feel, the guesthouse could also suit a small wedding. Service was top shelf, the food was truly exceptional, and the management team went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I was thrilled with Burleigh guesthouse, especially the onsite bakery with its cookies and pies. It's a serene spot, and I highly recommend it.

We booked the honeymoon suite for one night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and now wish we'd stayed longer. The suite was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a romantic feel. The gardens were peaceful and well maintained, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious too. Burkleigh House felt like a luxurious haven, and I can't fault it. I'd gladly return, and wish we'd booked more than one night.
