The artwork around the house was lovely, and the area was peaceful. Our room was comfortable, the view was great, and the staff were friendly. We had a brilliant two-night stay. Breakfast was good and the place felt like home. You guys are the best, thank you. I'd recommend this guest house.

A small family-run place hosted by Elsa, who's elegant and charming and made sure the stay was up to a high standard. It's a quiet spot at the top of Northcliffe, looking out over Johannesburg, with beautiful properties in the area. The colonial-style building feels welcoming, like you could settle in as if it were your own home. The furnishings are sumptuous, and there are antiques, parquet floors, lovely architecture, and soft lounge music in the shared rooms. You can spend time in the gardens, by the pool, or on the terraces in a lush, peaceful setting. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, and Nonnie the housekeeper can cook it if you'd like. Service is personal and impeccable. It's easy to get an Uber or Taxify, so there's no need to hire a car when visiting Johannesburg. A lovely choice for anyone looking for privacy and serenity.

I stayed for a week and would happily recommend this guest house. The garden and decor were gorgeous, the breakfasts were delicious, and the service was great.

A horrible experience. I drove 300 km only to be turned away. The owner seemed to hear my request with a bum ear, and there was an alcohol smell hanging in the air. Stay away.
