The Royal Princess Garden in Randburg

I booked at RPG for 31 Oct until 1 Nov. When we got there, the place didn't look like the pictures and was behind a hair salon. The person who showed us around said the booking photos were just for decoration. I asked where breakfast would be served and was told in the room, but there was no table to eat at. I wasn't happy and wanted to cancel. He got rude, locked the other room that was included in the booking, and said we were only two people so didn't need it. He told us to leave if we weren't happy, called us racist, and said we had to get off his property. He'd already been paid. We didn't stay and had to drive home without accommodation. Taking money like that is robbery.

I paid for the room I'd booked, but was given a bed in the lounge. The lady staying there was very nice, though the owners were rude and abrasive. They said the empty house was fully booked unless I paid another R600. When I tried to reach the booking people, I got nothing but silence. It was terrible. Don't go or stay there.

I had a wonderful stay with my dog. The place is lovely, right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, yet we could enjoy nature from our own little courtyard. King was kind and compassionate, and Fikile was my girl, always keen to help. Best of all, they're pet friendly. I'll visit again. Thanks to everyone at The Royal Princess Garden guest house!

WARNING!! NEVER STAY AT THIS GUESTHOUSE!! I called when we arrived and was told a woman would come open the gate soon. She let us in, but was very rude. I asked twice where the entrance was and she ignored me both times. When I asked a third time, she shouted at me. She said she'd left me waiting outside on purpose because the cameras showed me kissing my girlfriend by the gate. Worse, she told my girlfriend that I'd recently come to the guesthouse with another girl. We felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I regret staying because of her. No one should have to deal with such horrible service. Don't waste your money there.
