The hosts made our birthday weekend feel extra comfortable. Koen and Veronique were so accommodating, and made sure the breakfast had plenty of variety and something for the children too. It was delicious and generous. The place itself is lovely and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. The pool, rooms and bathrooms were all clean and had the basics we needed. A relaxing escape not too far from Cape Town, with wine farms and quaint restaurants nearby. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We were in the Valley for a wedding, so Church Hills was ideally located. Koen & Veronique were thoughtful hosts and happily took care of our needs. The beds were really comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was clean and working properly, and Koen and his wife did so much to make us feel welcome. Don’t miss their home-cooked breakfasts. We had a great stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

The festive decor in our honeymoon suite made it feel special, and it was very comfortable. We took the chance to celebrate our honeymoon again, even though we hadn’t planned to! The breakfast room was bright, tidy and welcoming, and our friendly hosts served a full breakfast. The pool was sparkling despite it being winter. We’d come for the Christmas in Winter festival, and although this was the closest accommodation to Tulbagh, it turned out to be a memorable stay.

I brought my very needy Yorkie along, and it was such a relief to find a guest house that welcomes pets. The husband and wife who run it were really sweet and made me feel at home. This is one of the nicest guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. They went the extra mile, and I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely time, and God bless you and your business.
