Phillip helped bring my birthday party together just the way I'd pictured it, offering useful planning help and suggestions that made things even better. The food was lovely and the waiters were really friendly. The rooms were a good size and ready for early check-in, parking was plentiful and felt safe, and everything stayed within budget. This used to be our preferred place to stay for work, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I won't be booking here again. Drunk people were partying until 4 a.m. virtually every night, running through the parking area and banging on doors at all hours. Over my nine-day stay, the chalet had just one toilet roll, with no replacements, so I had to buy my own. Room service meals arrived cold, and their plates didn't fit in the microwave. I was given one saucer as my only plate, and after it was taken away, it was never replaced. The cottage lighting was so dim I could barely find anything even in broad daylight. I had to make other arrangements for most of the stay because I couldn't get to work functions rested and ready. At breakfast in the dining hall, we had to eat from side plates, and the eggs were completely uncooked and watery. It's sad to see this place go downhill, since it used to be our favorite destination.
