Ruimsig Golf View Manor and Conference Centre

There’s a lovely front garden, and the place is lively and handy for shopping malls and activities, so it works well for a family stay. The rooms are spacious and nicely done, with a lovely bathroom and DStv. It’s self catering, so take note: the dishes were a bit dirty and needed a quick wash before we used them.

We’ve been here twice for conferences and had exquisite service both times. The owners make you feel right at home with their warm smiles, hospitality, and willingness to go the extra mile. They’re simply marvelous hosts. We need more people like them in our beautiful country!

I stayed there for a course in 2015, when someone broke into our rooms. One guest’s laptop was stolen, along with cellphones and money belonging to other guests. It was traumatic, and since then I haven’t been able to sleep peacefully in hotel rooms because I worry about my safety. Security was nonexistent at the time, though I hope something has changed. I wouldn’t stay there now unless the rooms had panic buttons and burglar bars on the doors and windows, or at least some kind of deterrent to stop criminals simply walking in. With crime levels in our country, it’s an unfortunate necessity.

Sergio was happy to help when we asked to get into our room earlier. A lovely little B&B with personal attention.
