The flowers and table looked amazing, and the food was tasty. There could've been a bit more of it 🥲, but the warm plates kept everything hot on a cold day. We had our wedding there, with the mountain behind us making such a beautiful setting.

The gardens and scenery are beautiful, and the breakfast, lunch and supper options are great. I also got incredible help from Eight Bells Mountain Inn after losing my phone during a lovely breakfast visit. Once I got home and realized it was missing, I contacted them. They took my details, searched around, then let me know when someone had picked it up outside their main entrance. They kept it locked away until I could fetch it the next morning. I highly recommend visiting.

The farm is lovely, with beautiful horses and a donkey, and there’s plenty to do: squash, tennis, bowls, billiards and a swim in the sparkling pool. The staff and Management are friendly and attentive, the food is fantastic, and it’s great that breakfast is included and there’s a vegan menu. We’re celebrating Christmas here tomorrow. We stayed nine years ago in a Swiss chalet on stilts, and this time we’re in a quaint bungalow. The bathroom’s bath has a hand shower, though, which really isn’t suitable.

There’s so much to do, with facilities and excursions on offer, so it’s hard to get bored. The accommodation is comfortable, and the service and attention to detail are excellent. Such a beautiful, peaceful setting and a truly unique experience.

The views were stunning, the food was tasty, and there were family activities too. Having our wedding there made it really special, and it was a great, budget-friendly option for what was included. The planner/manager went well beyond what she needed to do and helped with a bunch of favors for our guests’ needs. A great destination to visit on the Garden Route.
