Bonita made our time in St. Lucia easy, sorting out tours and drivers and adapting when the weather got in the way. She was so accommodating, and I’m really glad she was our host. The only tour we didn’t enjoy as much was the turtle trip, which we booked with another company. Everything Bonita arranged was great. At Heritage House is easy to find just off the main road, and the place is kept so neatly. Our room was spotless and cozy, and the outdoor seating was a lovely spot to unwind after a day out. St. Lucia was a unique experience, especially seeing hippos in the wild and even walking along the street. Most things were within walking distance, and the food was really good. We had an incredible stay and I’d happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting.

Nikita was so friendly and helpful with advice, and she booked local safaris and boat tours for us. Seeing hippos walk past the house toward the park almost every night was lovely. The whole house is beautiful, and breakfast on the garden patio was delicious. Our room was very clean, with a great bathroom and shower.

We were so pleased they could fit us in for an extra night after our plans changed. We’d first come across At Heritage House while booking a game drive in Hluhluwe, and it turned out to be a small, comfortable boutique place. The garden is lovely, the rooms are spacious, and our shower was enormous. We were welcomed so warmly. St. Lucia has plenty of places to stay, but we were very glad we found this one.

The team’s kindness and local knowledge made the stay memorable. They helped arrange tours and pointed us toward local spots. After exploring iSimangaliso Wetland Park, the pool area was a welcome place to relax. At Heritage House has a tropical garden, colonial-inspired style, and personal touches that made it feel homey. Our room was beautifully put together, with crisp linens and thoughtful details. Breakfast had fresh fruit, homemade treats, and eggs cooked just right, all served with a smile. The guesthouse felt peaceful and elegant from the moment we arrived. Refined but relaxed, it’s a special place on the Zululand coast.

Bonita welcomed us warmly, gave us a quick briefing, and was always friendly and helpful, especially with tips on where to watch hippos. The place is only a few yards from the main street. We enjoyed sitting outside by the dip pool for breakfast, and the snacks and sherry left by the kitchen were a lovely touch. A really enjoyable stay.
