The Capital Empire

Thank you for such a lovely stay, even with so many guests at the capital empire hotel. I wanted to recognize Lebo, who made it special. This was my second time meeting him on a work trip, and his warmth, professionalism, and genuine care stood out again. He goes out of his way to help guests feel welcome and comfortable, always with ease and kindness. Calm, helpful, and passionate about his work, he leaves a lasting impression. Staff like him make a good stay memorable, and he’s a real asset to the team. Lots of well wishes and love.

The staff were amazing on my first visit. My room faced a busy road, so I could hear cars racing past. If you’re used to city noise, it may not bother you. The bathroom was a bit small, and light from the passage outside came through its window, which has no blind to close. The glass door between the bathroom and room let that light into the room too, so it wasn’t dark when I tried to sleep.

At 10pm, just as I was getting ready for bed after checking in today, I found hair and marks on bedding that clearly hadn't been cleaned. Looking around the room, I spotted more dirt. It's disgusting, and there's no manager available now to help. They can change the sheets, but I'm still expected to sleep in a dirty room after paying full price. The pool is filthy too, with a terrible smell from the water. I have photos from an earlier visit, and the difference is bad. Maintenance seems nonexistent.

Even with the hotel busy and in a lively location, it wasn't unbearably noisy, which impressed me. The views were stunning, and the food stayed fresh and top quality every day I was there, regardless of how many guests were booked. An amazing hotel with an exquisite standard.
