Dineo deserves a very special thank you for her friendly, professional service. She really left a mark on us. My teenage daughter, Amahle Mkhabela, was meant to stay with friends for her Matric dance, but her reservation on Brookings. Com was cancelled after her bank card payment was declined. I called the hotel and Dineo helped me sort out the booking and payment with no fuss. I only came by in the evening to drop off food and drinks, along with a photographer who filmed and took pictures of Amahle and her friends. A few days later, we returned on Thursday afternoon to photograph the outside of the hotel too, since interior pictures and video alone wouldn't make sense without the exterior. Dineo checked with management about our request and came back two minutes later with their approval. I'm grateful, on my daughter's behalf too, for the hospitality she and her friends received. Keep up the good work, DINEO and team. You're living up to your slogan.

I'm from the UK and stayed at the Max hotel Sandton while visiting Jo’berg. Wow is the word for it. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and clean, and the staff were attentive and seemed to care that we had a wonderful stay. The gates at the front also made me feel guests' safety and security were a priority. One of the best hotels I've come across.

I had an online booking and an email confirming my accommodation, but when I arrived to check in as a thunderstorm started, the receptionist rudely told me there was no reservation in her system. I showed her the booking reference and confirmation email. She gave no apology or explanation, just said there were no rooms and I had to find somewhere else to stay, then walked away and left me at reception. The Max hotel has zero customer service or values. Wouldn't recommend booking here.:-(

09/10/2025: We finally made it to Sandton and stayed at the Max Hotel as planned. It met and even exceeded our expectations, and we had an excellent experience all round. We're definitely coming back. Before the trip, when I was planning an October visit with friends, the team was professional and helpful with arranging and booking the apartments. We couldn't wait to get there.

The place is so beautiful, it makes you feel at home. The staff were wow, 10/10, and welcomed us so warmly. Thanks to Dineo and her colleagues. I'd go back for that kind of warm treatment without a doubt.
