Bare Feet retreat is close to the beach and only a two-minute drive from central Scotsborough. The area feels safe and is well looked after, thanks to the community’s efforts, which adds to the sense of unity. When I arrived, the hosts greeted me with a generosity I won’t forget. They served a warm home-cooked meal, and the cosy room had all the comforts you could want. I loved the lighting and atmosphere, as well as the excellent food and peaceful feel of the area. A lovely weekend getaway that lets you be bare foot on the beach.

The food each morning was delicious and clearly made with care, and the rooms were so clean and comfortable that I slept well. From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel at home. Fresh breakfast is prepared while you enjoy your tea or coffee, and it’s definitely worth having. The rooms were immaculate and very quiet. From the pool and braai area, there are great ocean views. Just outside Scottburgh, this is a lovely B&B. The owners were caring, kind, helpful, and incredibly attentive. I’ve never stayed at a BnB with hosts so welcoming.

Kim and Sander were wonderful hosts, so kind and welcoming. We were treated to delicious three-course dinners, and the B&B has a stunning ocean view. Bare Feet Retreat exceeded my expectations: the newly renovated rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, beautifully furnished, and very clean.

The place has such a lovely Greek villa feel, and the rooms were really comfortable. I was there for a week on a work trip, but it honestly felt like a holiday. Kim and Sander were so warm and made me feel at home. Kim’s cooking was amazing, and she was very accommodating with dietary needs. I got to enjoy so many delicious gluten-free dishes. I’d love to come back as soon as I can.
