The garden at the entrance and the flowered hedges on the way up to the rooftop terrace are so pretty, and the care put into all the little details really shows. It’s such a charming, peaceful place, with lovely river views. Catching sunrise or sunset from the roof is a must. If you can, book a few nights so you have time to take one of Digby’s canoes from the jetty and explore the upriver gorges. The hosts are warm and welcoming.
Trish and Digby made us feel so welcome. They’re generous, kind people, and the flatlet is quiet and thoughtfully equipped for four, with what you’d need even for a longer stay. The views are incredible. We had a really memorable time here, and I’d happily recommend it.
We loved the calm here, with birds all around and a tidy garden. The cottage is cosy and well kept, and the river views are stunning. A really enjoyable stay.
